A medley by Pearl's brothers: As the Deer, Come Thou Fount, I'll Fly Away, Only a Holy God, God Will Take Care of You
Moonlit Night
Pria & Auntie Christiana
Mondnacht (Moonlit Night) by Joseph von Eichendorff English Translation by Richard Stokes
It was as though Heaven Had softly kissed the Earth, So that she in a gleam of blossom Had only to dream of him The breeze passed through the fields, The corn swayed gently to and fro, The forests murmured softly, The night was so clear with stars. And my soul spread Her wings out wide, Flew across the silent land, As though flying home.

The Lord's Prayer
All Together
Our Father in Heaven, Hallowed be Your Name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory, now and forever. Amen.

1)
It Is Well With My Soul
It Is Well With My Soul
When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say, It is well, it is well, with my soul.
It is well, with my soul,
It is well, with my soul,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.
Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come,
Let this blessed assurance control,
That Christ has regarded my helpless estate,
And hath shed His own blood for my soul.
It is well, with my soul,
It is well, with my soul,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.
My sin, oh, the bliss of this glorious thought!
My sin, not in part but the whole,
Is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more,
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul!
It is well, with my soul,
It is well, with my soul,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.
And Lord, haste the day when my faith shall be sight,
The clouds be rolled back as a scroll;
The trump shall resound, and the Lord shall descend,
Even so, it is well with my soul.
It is well, with my soul,
It is well, with my soul,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.

Sovereign Over Us
There is strength within the sorrow
There is beauty in our tears
And you meet us in our mourning
With a love that cast out fear
You are working in our waiting
You're sanctifying us
When beyond our understanding
You're teaching us to trust
Your plans are still to prosper
You have not forgotten us
You're with us in the fire and the flood
You're faithful forever
Perfect in love
You are sovereign over us
You are wisdom unimagined
Who could understand your ways
Reigning high above the heavens
Reaching down in endless grace
You're the lifter of the lowly
Compassionate and kind
You surround and you uphold me
And your promises are my delight
Your plans are still to prosper
You have not forgotten us
You're with us in the fire and the flood
You're faithful forever
Perfect in love
You are sovereign over us
Your plans are still to prosper
You have not forgotten us
You're with us in the fire and the flood
You're faithful forever
Perfect in love
You are sovereign over us
Even what the enemy means for evil
You turn it for our good
You turn it for our good and for your glory
Even in the valley, you are faithful
You're working for our good
You're working for our good and for your glory
Even what the enemy means for evil
You turn it for our good
You turn it for our good and for your glory
Even in the valley, you are faithful
You're working for our good
You're working for our good and for your glory
Your plans are still to prosper
You have not forgotten us
You're with us in the fire and the flood
Oh, you're faithful forever
Perfect in love
You are sovereign over us
You're faithful forever
Perfect in love
You are sovereign over us

Miracles
Miracles
The One who made the blind to see
Is moving here in front of me, moving here in front of me
The One who made the deaf to hear
Is silencing my every fear, silencing my every fear
[Chorus:]
I believe in You, I believe in You
You're the God of miracles
I believe in You, I believe in You
You're the God of miracles
The One who does impossible is
Reaching out to make me whole
Reaching out to make me whole
The One who put death in its place
His life is flowing through my veins
His life is flowing through my veins
[Chorus x2:]
I believe in You, I believe in You
You're the God of miracles
I believe in You, I believe in You
You're the God of miracles
The God who was and is to come
The power of the Risen One
The God who brings the dead to life
You're the God of miracles!
You're the God of miracles!
[x2]
[Chorus:]
I believe in You, I believe in You
You're the God of miracles
I believe in You, I believe in You
You're the God of miracles
The God who was and is to come
The power of the Risen One
The God who brings the dead to life
You're the God of miracles!
You're the God of miracles!
[Chorus:]
I believe in You, I believe in You
You're the God of miracles
I believe in You, I believe in You
You're the God of miracles

Raise a Hallelujah
Raise A Hallelujah
I raise a hallelujah
In the presence of my enemies
I raise a hallelujah
Louder than the unbelief
I raise a hallelujah
My weapon is a melody
I raise a hallelujah
Heaven comes to fight for me
I'm gonna sing in the middle of the storm
Louder and louder, you're gonna hear my praises roar
Up from the ashes hope will arise
Death is defeated, the King is alive
I raise a hallelujah
With everything inside of me
I raise a hallelujah
I will watch the darkness flee
I raise a hallelujah
In the middle of the mystery
I raise a hallelujah
Fear, you lost your hold on me
I'm gonna sing in the middle of the storm
Louder and louder, you're gonna hear my praises roar
Up from the ashes hope will arise
Death is defeated, the King is alive
Sing a little louder
Sing a little louder
Sing a little louder
Sing a little louder
Sing a little louder
Sing a little louder
Sing a little louder
Oh, sing a little louder
Sing a little louder
In the presence of my enemies
Sing a little louder
Louder than the unbelief
Sing a little louder
My weapon is a melody
Sing a little louder
Heaven comes to fight for me
Sing a little louder
I'm gonna sing in the middle of the storm
Louder and louder, you're gonna hear my praises roar
Up from the ashes hope will arise
Death is defeated, the King is alive
I'm gonna sing in the middle of the storm
Louder and louder, you're gonna hear my praises roar
Up from the ashes hope will arise
Death is defeated, the King is alive
I raise a hallelujah (hallelujah)
I raise a hallelujah (I raise my hallelujah)
I raise a hallelujah (I raise my hallelujah)
I raise a hallelujah
Obituary
For her 9 months of life in the womb, Pearl was very healthy and active. She would wake up at night when Mom tried to sleep and would kick Dad in the back. On the morning of August 6th, 2022, Pearl's parents noticed she wasn't moving. Usually, when Dad talked to Little P, there would be delightful responsive activity, but this time there was no response. After checking over and over, the shock set in that Pearl had lost her life. The whole family started grieving together. On August 7th, 2022 Jasmine Pearl was born at home and cuddled by her parents Pepper and Jennifer as well as her siblings, Pierce, Preston, Padrig, Parker, Pria, Paxson, Paige, Penn and Piper. Her friends and family called from as far away as New Zealand and visited from Fairbanks, Hawaii, Nome and Pennsylvania.

Before she was born, there was a rivalry among Pearl's 6 brothers and 3 sisters whether the gender pattern would continue. She broke the odds in favor of the girls by arriving on National Sisters Day.

From the perspective of eternal life, we know that a lifetime is a small wait to see her, but right now it feels very far away. We miss you so, so much little girl!
